Six Sigma Certification has been increasing in demand consistently, but there are many people who are still oblivious to its importance when they apply for a position in any organization. Employers understand the importance and most of them scan the resumes of applying candidates for Lean Six Sigma, but most candidates overlook the importance of the methodology and how effectively it can be implemented in a workplace to improve business processes.

Candidates that are looking to find employment opportunities for themselves can benefit a great deal from the training program, however, even people who do have a slight idea of the certification don’t know where to begin. The doctrine provides candidates with the right skill set that is required in order to work optimally within organizations; reduce errors and eliminate them, increase the effectiveness of the entire process, and create highly effectual plans and strategies.

Glasgow is no exception when it comes to places that really understand the importance of the Sigma Training and Certification.

The Five Belts/Levels of Six Sigma Certificate

The training is comprised of five different belts that vary according to the level of expertise and skills. Each level is referred to as a belt that signifies your level of training.

White Belt

This is the basic preliminary level of the Lean Six Sigma white belt Training where the applying candidates learn efficient data collection and work on their team working skills.

Yellow Belt

This is a little more advanced than the lean six sigma White Belt training and teaches trainees all the processes and methods that can be used to effectively streamline daily tasks.

Green Belt

This is the mid-level expertise where the candidate does not only inculcate team working skills within their work ethics but also the ability to lead an entire team in the most productive way.

Black Belt

This is the second highest level of expertise one can gain from a Six Sigma Training program and this level enables and individual to perform managerial tasks highly effectively.

Master Black Belt

The highest level of expertise is the Master Black Belt and it is a highly sought after certification an employee can possess when applying for any job. The level provides the individual with abilities to not only lead teams effectively, but also capacitate as a consultant.

The West George Street office space in Glasgow is in an ultra-modern, glass-fronted office building, which was built in 2006 and has won several awards for design and architecture. Sitting in the heart of Glasgow's financial district, these prominent, prestigious offices stand out from the traditional neighbouring office buildings which include the corporate offices of some of the world's largest banking giants.

There are spectacular views onto West George Street from many of the offices. Glasgow used to be known for heavy industry, particularly shipbuilding and engineering. Today it is a diverse business location, with 13,000 companies making their home here - including 25 per cent of Scotland's largest firms. Although shipbuilding and marine technologies form a key sector still, the city now specialises in areas as broad as energy, creative, retail, tourism, food, drink, construction and life sciences.
