David was very engaging and excited about the material. I also thought the material was very detailed and informative
There were many aspects of the course that were helpful: 1. David kept the pace moving, so we were able to get through the material while still having a lot of interaction and practice. 2. The tools associated with the course will be extremely helpful as I do my first project. 3. The hourly breaks allowed us to step away, re-charge and get back to learning. 4. The printed material was comprehensive and allowed me to focus on the conversation rather than taking copious notes. 5. David was very responsive to questions outside of class. Great job!
I like how informative it was.
the class document is easy to follow, the material is relevant,
The paper helicopter group project was great. Very informative and versatile.
Most virtual training is listening to the instructor the whole time but Joseph had us working together which a fun and exciting.
Hands on examples with Minitab allowed practice.
The instructor Shannon Barret was able to explain the material in a very simplified way which made the material very easy to follow. He also gave real life examples and tips which helped conceptually with the statistics portion of the week. It would be nice to know that he will be teaching week 2 as well.
Marc really did an outstanding job making the material engaging. He deserves a raise!
The instruction was very structured, but not in a way that interfered with class participation. There were adequate breaks to ensure we really didn't get the "glaze over effect" - so I felt engaged while present and also not overly sigmatized by the end of the course. Our class was very insightful - providing what I feel were crucial inputs throughout the duration of the course, the instructor didn't put the attendees on the spot which encouraged participation. It was most definitely a unifying experience. I left the course today with the tools and knowledge needed to begin working on my green belt project and I'm looking forward to continuing to build my now institutional knowledge of LSS with the assistance of the MBB on my project.
Marc is a genius explaining this material, and doing it also via web. When I enrolled, I was afraid it might be tedious or boring to do the course via webinar, but he managed to keep us engaged and interested.
how engaging marc was throughout the whole training
The material was good but instructor made it better. Very good instructor. Wish I had Marc Block as a math teacher back in the day...
Instructor kept it interesting, and real world examples with hands on application was the most valuable to me
Marc provided experiential content that went beyond just the slide content. Very helpful. He also encouraged the students to provide some ideas on how they would apply some concepts. It is very helpful, especially when a larger organization wants to invest in formalized Six Sigma training. Our class had diverse backgrounds, so I was able to see how other teams within our own organization might apply these methods.
