Standardization is one of the most important factors to eliminate variations.

The objectives of the team work are to deliver the results of the projects assigned
as faster, as accurate as possible so for a team leader,
it is very important to eliminate our own variations by standardizing our own instrucations
for team members to execute.

Pig game is veryuseful for team leaders to learn how to provide the instructions precisely.

Thanks for the video. Where I work we’ve had many debates about the value of standard work, given that we are a firm specializing in custom facility design for our clients. My fear about using something like this is that I suspect they would view the ‘creativity’ of the first round of pigs as the highest ‘value’ vs. the standardized pig. (i.e. “We don’t do cookie cutter work.”) Has this ever come up in any of your training sessions and how to do overcome this objection to standard work?

A very good and simple way of providing a clear appreciation and understanding of Standard Work. Do you have procedure on how to make one ? The video shows already that there is one. I would like to know how to make one.
