I like your 8 wastes as applied to legal practices and these used to drive me crazy. I worked at a law firm as an IT staff person many years ago. I submitted improvement ideas to improve service & save money to our office adminstrator-think of it as kaizen. The first response was “we’re not interested in any of your ideas.” Then the second response was…”nor are we interested in hearing any ideas from you ever again.” It was sad to see the “professional aparteid” that existed there for those of us that had no JD. Maybe the Dewey collaspe will change some hearts and minds…
