I know the leadership well (both of which the GM and Lean Leader have left) now at Avery Dennison doing the same thing. The Callaway site in Chicopee is still impressive. The employees and management have actually fought back. They have been able to make some improvements utilizing their lean thinking which has allowed them to keep some operations in Chicopee. A good portion did move to Mexico but they proved they can still improve the processes. I hope to see a new chapter at Callaway.
